Some of the women looked like they came out of the Mayflower instead of the Santa Maria. Traditional women need to be a bit more fashionable than that. Modesty does not mean one has to look like a puritan.

I'm not married, so I can't speak to this a whole lot, but I do have three sisters, two of whom are married...I agree that modesty is not style - but honestly - I'd rather have a fashion illiterate "Mayflower girl" any day than a fashionista wearing the latest threads. As usual, it is unfair to use an example of the least stylish "modest women" to tar all the rest who believe in modesty. And it's intellectually dishonest. But, there it is.
